I'm 3 weeks and 1 day po.I'm guessing this is normal but wanted other opinions.I just noticed the right side looks quite a bit more bigger(or swollen)compared to the other.I thought about it,I think it's been like this most of the time,since I study it everyday.It doesn't look horrible,but you can tell the difference from the front,at least I can.

My ps said he broke that side,even thou I had bruising on the other side of the nose.So I don't know if he told me the wrong side at the time.Otherwise I would conclude it's swelling up because that's the side he broke. I love it overall thus far.Maybe I'm just being paranoid.

And when do I stop worrying about things like bumps occurring and a bad result?I know it will change over time,I just fear it getting worse.And noticing the right side I'm a little bit worried.

Well, it is probably normal (but only your doctor knows what he did). Why not post some photos so we can see?

Uneven swelling during the first several weeks is not unordinary. If that side was the only side broke it wouldn't be surprising. Uneven rhinoplasty swelling can also be exasperated by laying on one side over the other.

Thanks Mr.Z ,you can't really tell from a pic.It's on the tip,so I hope it's just swellling.I don't expect perfection,I just hope it doesn't look weird in the the final result.

Have you consulted with your surgeon? Any progress or changes since your last post?

Sorry,I have been SUPER busy with moving,among other things.Anyway,it still seems a TINY bit bigger on the one side.By looking at it,it's VERY hard to tell.I see my surgeon in a couple of weeks.It is NOW not a concern for me,unless I wanted perfection,which I do not think is realistic.I think others can't tell unless they steer.I feeling & looking at it on a daily basis can.
I think my surgeon did a wonderful job(so far).It is a MAJOR improvement.I don't have my printer/copier hooked up yet;I will try to do that this week.I can then post the Dr's before, and my after pics.But from ALL views it looks goodexcept the tip is a bit big,but I know that's normal~
