Why did I not come across this doctor before? He has tons of positive reviews but my new sceptical self doesn't know if I should believe them. Photos look pretty good too...

Anyone have feedback on him for revision rhino or primary for that matter?

I do like most of Dr. Bustillio's before and after pics but there is no info about the surgeries pictured other than patient age. That makes it impossible to evaluate.

On the plus side he only does facial plastics and that's a positive sign. I would recommend a consult to find out more. Websites are only helpful in identifying obvious warning signs. Besides that it's hard to tell because not every qualified surgeon has a flashy/detailed site.

Thanks for your opinion Mr. Z. I agree a consult would be the next step, I was just hoping someone had heard of him before I schelpped down to Coral Gables for a consult... I'll wait a few more days to see if anyone else has any more info on him before I schedule...

just curious if anyone with connections knows who did winona's nose. Obviously a long time ago but in my opinion great work!

Something about him doesn’t convince me....I don’t know what it is but I've heard of him and never thought about consulting with him. I would like to know more about others that have had experience or connections with him…..anyone out there??

it's a free consult and he has written articles with bigshots like Pastorek so I thought I'd check him out. Don't love his primary photos as much as his revisions and even those aren't as good, in my opinion as Davis's or Steigers but....

To be completely honest it was just an “at a glance” opinion….nothing too concrete behind it. He didn’t stand out to me for some reason that’s all. This would be the first time I've really seen some one bring him up. I’ve only read the comments about him on “rate my md” msg board and looked at his website. I haven’t seen all these reviews you’re talking about but I’m sure it’s because I haven’t taken the time to research him. I’ll definitely do that now though.

Bustillo has produced some above average as well as highly desired results, however, when things go wrong you are "on your own" so to speak. He is fair for ethnic rhinoplasty. His bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired, and some of the procedures he claims to be an expert at ... well ... he's not.

I don't need anything done to the top two thirds of my nose soooooo is he good at tip work?

Bedside manner wise, he seemed perfectly polite, just not Mr. Personality... is that what you mean?
