| I've heard of Behmand as well. I thought he would be a good doctor for my nose, especially since he was Persian as well. But I heard that he is still a novice, and I was looking to go to a doctor that specializes on head and neck. So no one has heard of Dr. Sam Most at Stanford?
p.s. pasty, your nose looks lovely |

| i've definitely heard of him. i remember seeing his name when i initially researched and if i recall, there were one or two people who'd reported about him around that time. unfortunately, i don't remember the details but i would guess those posts are still around somewhere. all i know is that for some reason i decided not to consult with him, so either i read something that turned me off or something else. i think he might also have been a subject of a mmh thread in which there were some fake posts- that might have been it. i'll see if i can find it.

Considering consulting with him.
I forgot to mention I also saw a guy named Creasman in San Jose who I also wouldn't recommend. Not that his name is likely to come up. |

| My consultation went really well with him, and it looks like I will be having my surgery in mid July. He does closed. I'm only hesitant because no one else really knows him (looks that way at least...) |

afterthought- how was his b/a book? it's a bit difficult to gauge his style due to the lack of images on his site.

| I will still PM you CalGirl112.
Sam Most offers a mixed bag of results. He is a very approachable surgeon. Relies heavily on computer imaging. Good for post-op care. I have only seen primary rhino results from him as well as the results of other procedures that he performed. I'm not sure if he does revision rhinoplasty. He literally does every procedure in the book, which is a red flag. No one can be an expert at everything. I have seen several procedures he has done, and some were good, and some were not. Like I said, they were not all rhinos. He can be a bit aggressive with ethnic rhinos, which constitutes some of the unfavorable work I have seen from him.

| Did you ever find a rhinoplasty surgeon in the bay area. I am also looking for one and I am only looking at facial plastic surgeons. I am going to check out Corey Maas. I have seen alot of reviews on Sam Most but it is almost like there are too many good reviews on Most. It is so hard to trust everything you read these days. |

| About Dr. David Kim in SF.. his price is ridiculously high! I'm not even sure if his work is even that amazing...his work is very subtle and a lot of his before/after photos don't show much a difference between photos. his quote was 8.5k (his fee) + 3k for anesthesia/OR fees. so about $11-$11.5k total. that is just UNREASONABLE. ughhh im so depressed right now. back to surgeon hunting....... I talked to Dr. Ramin Behmand through email and they quoted $7.2k (everything included) which is very reasonable, but I have to research him more before feeling comfortable with him.
I'll look into that Dr. Sam Most guy.. never heard of him. |
