Open Rhinoplasty Scar
I have told my doctor that I scar easily. My ear piercings took a full year to heal, opposed to the three months it is supposed to take. My surgeon said that the skin under the nose heals very quickly and it won't scar with open rhinoplasty. Is this true?

Welcome to the forum!!! :D
Scarring and healing are dependent on many factors including overall health, smoking behavior, genetics, and external care, just to name a few.
Skin below the nose can scar. Why are you inquiring about this area? Are you planning on having a rhinoplasty?

I took good care of mine, dabbing it with healing stuff, like tea tree oil, antibiotics, but I wasn't too obsessive about it, and you can barely notice any scar at all. It's seriously very fine, but I don't scar too easily.

Aside from genetics some surgeons are better than others in closing the scars. That is the cause at least some of the time. Poor scar care is another reason. Use a good scar cream that contains allium cepa bulb extract as directed by the doctor.
