Dallas, I think you look fantastic and gorgeous. It's quite obvious you still have swelling..not to mention that even without seeing a post op pic, you are still only two weeks! I keep telling myself that too. I love the front look, but the profile my tip also is swollen it freaks me out sometimes. I think it could also be the illusion how things get thrown off when you alter the bridge. I think there is a huge psychological thing going on too. The face we've seen for how many years has changed from one day to the next. I've read so many people think they look bad, when in fact it's the opposite, it's just they look different. Most of the time it is an improvement, but I think people have unrealistic expectations.

Don't beat yourself up over it emotionally. The waiting certainly sucks, but that's also all we have at this point. I'm also almost 2 weeks post op. Be well!

Default your nose seems to be ok-in my opinion

Hi Dallashousewife,
Give it time; your nose seems to be ok. It suits your face well in my opinion. Let your eyes adjust to it and get more familiar vwith it. If you want to go for a revision go for it and make sure you choose a reliable surgeon who does nt rip you off and who would not change the shape of it. If I were you, I would leave it as it is; but this is just my opinion. gd luck!

I just got mine done two weeks ago too. I am a little scared cuz my tip is still really big. I suggest you go read other people's post-op journals, many/most of them are freaking out about something or other.. if u keep reading they calm down after a few months. Reading these has helped me calm down and understand that it REALLY does take months and months for final results. If you're stuck, I know a great surgeon in Toronto, Canada that specializes in secondary rhinoplasty's ... but I'm sure u can find one in your area. As my surgeon told me last week, after rhino people literally become obsessed with their noses. I thought mine crooked afterwards, and asked my mom, dad, and the surgeon and no one could see it. You just have to remember to keep level headed.

And yes, I would wait a full year to get it revised because either A.. you will grow to like it and, B. it won't be healed and since your nose is already extra weak you will want to make sure it has enough strength to go back into surgery.

take care and I know everything will turn out just fine. Besides, you're already super gorg!!

I live in Toronto and I'm looking for a good Surgeon for a rhinoplasty. This would be a first for me, so I'd love some good recommendations.

Thanks!
