I'm new to this forum and I apologize if this question has been asked in a previous thread. I'm just wanting to how much does rhinoplasty cost in general. I'm sure it varies greatly depending on the level of difficulty and notoriety of the surgeon, but can you please tell me what you paid and what was done?

I shopped around and even considered traveling for surgery but there wasn't much to back up the costs I was quoted for Chicago, Los Angeles or New York rhinoplasty surgeons. Don't choose a surgeon by price alone. There will be bad doctors who are expensive and cheap doctors who are good.

Cost will depend on many factors including which surgeon you choose, the geographic location where your procedure will take place, as well as the type of rhinoplasty you choose to have.

I assume you are asking how much the total cost of rhinoplasty is and not just the surgeons fee, right?

I know plenty of people getting excellent rhinoplasty with a total cost of under $10,000, but then there are others that pay exorbitant sums of money only to be left with sub-par results.

For a primary rhinoplasty the surgeon fee could cost $12-14k on the very high end. With anesthesia and operating room that can number can easily hit $20k. The average rhinoplasty cost would be more like half that amount or less. Don't shop based on price you can't judge them that way.

I think Mr. Z hit the nail on the head. Rhinoplasty costs can vary greatly and they don't always correlate to how good or bad the outcome is. This is why it's so very important to do your research, especially since a bad surgery can cost you revision(s) later on

I had rhino, septo, and turbinate reduction for under 10,000, including anesthesia etc.
