okay, posting here now since it is no longer appropriate to be in the chin section. thank you all again for your input. As far as the lighting, the room seemed to be lite up the way most rooms are, so I think thats a pretty accurate picture of what it looks like in most lighting.

robyne, I am just a little confused by what you said on the last post. I understand that you think the new nose may be too slender and not masculine enough. However, you also said that in my before pics, it has a masculine quality. Did you mean to say that I may be better off keeping it the way it is or just not change it so much?

I wasn't say do not make the change or do not go for the procedure. We have already discussed that some time ago in PM. I was saying in the morph (which only gives you a guide as to the surgeon's intentions) the length of the nose looked a bit (not a hair) too slender, which to me denoted an effeminate quality. What do you think? that's what truly matters. How did you feel about the morphs?

I can certainly see what you are saying about it being too slender. To me, it still looks fairly masculine as I think even the new nose would be too strong for most women. The improvement I see is in how much straighter it is. Perhaps in my next consultation, I will see if the morph can keep the nose just as straight as in the current morph while not taking so much off.

As for the front profile, I do see improvement as well, but I think the angle the pic was actually taken at was to show how the nostrils are more even. I wish there was a more normal shot taken of me from the front that reflects how Im seen from the front. It looks like the tip does not have that downward slope to it and thats good!

Is it common for someone's voice to change after undergoing rhinoplasty? Not that this would be an issue at all if it does, just wondering.

It is uncommon, but voice change post rhinoplasty can happen. If you are a singer it can affect your voice as well as the tone. A surgeon cannot guarantee a voice change will not occur, however, like I said, it is not usually an issue.

Well it sounds like you are happy with the morphs, and ultimate, that's who matters! Going back and looking at them again, the side without the extreme shadowing does look very good!

I know rhinoplasty can affect a singer's voice, but I have never heard of it changing it for a normal person. So unless you plan on being a singer, I wouldn't worry about it
