Dallas rhinoplasty - Need advice for tip work & other improvements

Hi I am new to the forum and so glad I was able to find a site like this one to hopefully get some honest opinions and advice.

I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and have only had consultations with two doctors. I was not comortable with either doctor and have decided to continue searching. I know we have several well known surgeons here in the area such as Dr.Byrd, Dr.Cochran, and Dr.Gunter. However, I've had a hard time finding many personal experiences or reviews for these doctors and can't say that I'm overly impressed with the work I see displayed on their sites.

I have been considering rhinoplasty for some time now. I think my nose in no way fits my face - the bridge is too wide/boxy, the dorsal hump will need to be shaved down a bit, it will need to be straightened, and my major concern is with my tip. I was told by one doctor that I have a slight ''bifid' tip where the muscle never fully formed together leaving a cleft like space in the middle. (Please see attached photos)
That same doctor told me it would be as simple as joining the two muscles together to form a rounded tip. I feel like my nose will require quite a bit of work so I'm intent on finding a very skilled surgeon even if it means traveling across the country. I have a list of doctors that I've been researching and I would appreciate any feedback or experiences that you've had with these doctors or any others that do not appear in the list but you feel are well qualified:

I also am a little confused about open vs. closed rhinoplasty. From what I understand, open rhinoplasty involves a lot more swelling and longer healing time in most cases. Is it true that not as much refinement (especially with the tip) can be done with a closed surgery?

I'm actually going to remove Dr. Toriumi from the list. I've read enough reviews debating his work to form my own opinions. Any advice or thoughts on the others doctors mentioned would be great.

You are a very pretty girl, however, a rhinoplasty would definitely enhance your entire face. It is the only thing that is off.

You definitely need to visit more surgeons.

You said all the right things about your nose does have to be straightened, narrowing the bridge, removing the small dorsal hump and improving the tip. Your projection needs to be improved as well. Your nostrils will and should be smaller if you make the aforementioned alterations. Do not add anything ... modify.

You might need an open rhinoplasty with all the procedures that need to be done.

I'll PM you with my opinions on the surgeons you listed, as well as a few additional recommendations.

I believe that is his only website. However, if you search for his name there are a lot of really good personal reviews out there and he's mentioned by patients on several message boards. Most of the reviews and before & afters I found for him are for secondary rhinoplasty. Obviously I need primary, but I need someone who is able to handle a more complex case and not a simple dorsal hump shave down. This is where I first heard about Dr.Le actually - Rhinoplasty trauma
This poor girl had a terrible primary rhinoplasty experience and he was able to completely transform her nose. I'm going to email him soon and set up a consultation. I'll keep you guys posted!
