I had the tip of my nose thinned out, upper bhlepharoplasty and carbon dioxide lasering done beneath my eyes 6 weeks ago. My only problem has been the slow rate of healing under my right eye, it is still very pink. Two days after the surgery I gently wiped the oozing matter from under each eye with a washcloth, apparently causing additional trauma and delaying the healing process. I absolutely love the appearance of the skin that was lasered, it is soft and fresh looking & reminds me of babies skin. I am very anxious for the undereye pinkness to subside, but am otherwise satisfied with everything.

Sounds like you're having some healing issues, due to the trauma you caused. Are you sure you are responsible for the current issue? Maybe you should speak with your surgeon?
