| Should I get a revision rhinoplasty? (pics)
10 months post op. Do you think there is still swelling, or should I get revision to refine the tip more? I think it looks too bulbous compared to the dorsum. What are your opinions? |

| Perhaps I just have an untrained eye, but I think it looks fabulous as it is now. |

| thanks for the compliments. i just think it looks a bit too round, instead of nice and defined at the tip. does anyone else see what im talking about? im just not sure if it will get more defined with time, as it's already been 10 months, or if it's still swollen and that's why it looks so round at the tip? |

| It appears as if you are still suffering from some swelling. Did you have tip work done in your primary? Do not go back for a revision yet, as your nose will still continue to change for some time. Posting a before and after might do your "after" better justice as well.

| Yes, please post before and after pictures and profile pictures if you can
Was this an open rhinoplasty? At 10 months you will still be swollen. About what pastypigeon said: Quote: |

| I think we would all agree a defined tip is preferred, but that is not always possible on everyone (or very difficult to do). We would need to see her before pictures to find out what she had to begin with. |

I had the bridge narrowed (osteotomy), bump removed, and the tip and nostrils were narrowed. I also had a septoplasty done at the same time to straighten the nose along with a partial turbinectomy to improve breathing. I really like the overall shape of the bridge, it's very streamlined, but the tip looks too square in my opinion from the bird's eye view. I also think it looks a bit crooked and and rounded out on the sides, like it did before I had the surgery. Sorry the before pic is black and white, it was the only honest pic I have.
Thanks for all your comments/ feedback, btw |

| If you could post a before and after profile pic that would be helpful as well.
Your nose does appear to be swollen as I stated above. You will have to wait quite some time for your nose to settle.
Have you spoken with your surgeon? If so, what was his feedback regarding the situation?
