| Surgeons good with revising/removing a nose with rib in it? Hi,
I'm new here, and in need of a rhinoplasty revision. I am on the west coast, but willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. since I need an expert (I suppose everyone says that but revisions are definitely more technically difficult than primaries).
My last surgeon filled my nose with rib grafts. I don't want to talk about my previous surgeon, but rather, find a doctor who is caring, talented, and not overly expensive to help me.
I've been researching and researching but undecided. I'm not interested in doctors who like to use rib a lot. I'm done with rib and may not even need anything but shaping and rib graft removal. Of course, that will not be easy because I'll have scar tissue as well to deal with
Any help would be very much appreciated. |

| Welcome to the forum, Cass!
Placing rib grafts in the nose is a very tricky as well as usually ineffective means to utilize in rhinoplasty. Sorry to hear things didn't work out. Yes, revisions are more difficult than primary surgeries.
Where are you specifically on the West Coast? I will PM you with some expert revisionists on the West Coast (as per your request via PM), as well as in other areas of the US. la_angel might also be able to assist you with some recommendations as well.
