Usually, but not always, African American rhinoplasty can be more difficult. The internal cartilage structures can often times be harder to change. Plus many African American patients may desire a greater degree of tip narrowing, which is never "easy" on anyone, regardless of their ethnicity.
But the good news is that African Americans tend to have thicker nasal skin, which can be a plus for camouflaging the tip's cartilage edges (after the surgeon has modified the nasal domes inside the tip).
In Lil Kim's case, she had too many surgeries done by an unqualified surgeon, which is why her face ended up the way it did. This is why it's so important to research and understand rhinoplasty (the most complex plastic surgery procedure) before you start consulting with surgeons.
