Contemplating rhinoplasty

I certainly have a prominent nose, but am unsure if making it smaller would even fit my face at all. Perhaps theres some type of other revision rhinoplasty that would be appropriate for me, such as tip rhinoplasty.

Believe it or not, I went all throughout high school and pledging a ruthless fraternity without anyone ever saying anything about my nose. I had gone in for a septoplasty to correct a deviated septum and noticed that my front profile changed as the tip droops more. I also heard someone complain of a similar thing on another blog. I then took a profile shot from the side and wasn’t really sure what to make of it; im not a bad looking guy at all from the front and think the side profile doesnt exactly say the same. This would all be done for myself and am wondering about anyone elses opinion who may be going through the same thing.

I attached a picture of a simulated program that gave me a before/after view. Does making it smaller change the angle between the upper lip and base to a more ideal one or would another type of change be needed for that.

The before and after photos do not look very different, in my opinion. I do not mean it looks like a subtle change... it looks like no change. It might be the picture quality. The only thing i would alter about your nose is the width.

Thanks for responding, did you notice this from the front profile shot?

The front pic is what made me notice the width of the base of your nose. That is the first thing I noticed about your nose. I would address the width of the base of your nose first and foremost.

You are a good looking guy, but perhaps increasing the space between your nasal base/tip (whichever is lower) and your upper lip might be flattering as well. This can be a complicated surgery, often requiring revision(s).

You might want to grow your hair a bit longer as well, on the top and the sides. That also helps to balance the face out overall.
