I'm 8 months post-op and one side of my nose is higher than the other. Also I have a small hard bump on one side. Will this eventually go down? It looks horrible in pics!!! The little bump on one side also bugs me because that was the main point of my rhinoplasty!

Any suggestions?

At 8 months post op on a primary rhinoplasty (if that's what this was) then that doesn't sound normal. Right after surgery swelling can create some problems similar to this, but that is too far out. What is your doctor's response to this?

Would you mind posting a pic so we can get a better idea of what's going on? You can just post a picture of your nose (and crop out the rest of your face) to protect your privacy.

It was an open rhinoplasty. I had a bump removed and tip work done. How do I upload a pic so I can show you what I'm talking about?

Yes she says it's swelling but I don't believe it. I'm going back at the end of this month. She also said she would fix the hard bump on one side but that means I have to have surgery again

If it is due to surgeon error, she (as you specified) might be obligated to perform a revision, at no cost to you (unless she has a creative legal team, which unfortunately does occur more now than ever). If you specified that the hard bump was what you wanted addressed, what did she actually do to your nose? Who is the surgeon? They will always claim swelling when they are at fault, and realistically, any good surgeon would never operate when swelling remains. It is the ultimate coverup. Keep us posted.
