Slim lipo is a new laser liposuction technology. According to what I’ve read, SLIM or Selective Laser Induced Melting uses a laser wavelength of 920 and 920/980 nm and selectively melts fat 3 times more effectively than SmartLipo and 5 times better than the CoolLipo device. PAL lipo is power-assisted liposuction that uses a liposuction tube or a cannula to remove fat. This type of liposuction has devices that are easier for surgeons to control and also allows more precise and thorough fat removal. These devices create rapid, small vibrations to break down fat and suction it out through the cannula.
This again has two variations, the first where the anesthetic is injected into the treatment area for smooth fat transfer through the cannula and out of the body. The second variation is where the tip of the cannula or the tube used to extract fat from the body, vibrates rapidly. According to the literature, this vibration actually makes liposuction gentler on the body’s tissues because it loosens fat cells and allows them to be easily suctioned away. Hope that helps.
