The scope of Liposuction is not the loss of weight but the remodeling of the body. It is, generally, carried out on two well defined areas and not on the entire body. It is not a drastic solution but a procedure which, if performed properly, involves very few risks with a gradual and not uncomfortable convalescence. Generally speaking, unless there is a wish to run unnecessary risks, during the course of the procedure, not more that 5-6 liters (liters, and not kilos because the fat weighs very little) is removed. It is ideal to have the surgery after a diet and, in any case, once you have reached the weight under which you do not wish to go.
