LIPO for OVERWEIGHT people too?
My question is this....
I am obviously not considering liposuction as a means to radically change my body shape at this time (or as a means to lose wieght), but rather as a means to remove some of those fat cells, so that when i do lose weight again, it will be more permanent or easier to maintain the weight because the number of fat cells have been reduced. Does this make any sense or am I completely crazy to think that eliminating some fat cells would help me in maintaining weight loss?
I have read in numerous places that overweight people are not ideal candidtates for lipo...but what if we want to use lipo as a means to assist us in maintaining weight loss and not just a tool to shape our body or achive good visual results? Is that an option or would it be a waste of time?
The surgery is also carried out on obese, or ex-obese, clients. It is, however, necessary to evaluate whether it is worth operating or not in terms of the result that can be achieved. In fact, the risk of complications in overweight clients is also greater. In these cases, it is better initially to begin with a diet in order to loose weight.
Only go for lipo if you are going to change your lifestyle.
After lipo you will have to be very much conscious about what you eat.
If you start gaining weight then the fat will be equally divided over all the body and you will get to previous state.
Lipo is definitely not recommended for obese individuals. As someone else suggested earlier in this thread, even if you are permitted to go through with the surgery, you will have to completely change your lifestyle. You should be doing that before lipo. It seems like a quick fix, but lipo is not. Diet and exercise take time, but results are guaranteed, as long as you stick with it.
Yes the lifestyle change is a must. It will probably be a good thing if the lipo costs your a chunk of money because for most of us that motivation alone will be at least some incentive to not pack the pounds back on.
