Default Lipo for smaller people?

At the risk of sounding picky, I'm just curious. My waist is about a 26/27. I'm not overweight. But I'm wondering...Is lipo possible around the ribs to take a waist down to about a 24/25? I'm not sure if it's just the way my ribs are built, but I have really skinny legs and arms and I feel my torso is not proportionate and it's always been that way. If it is possible, are there high risks?

I am so glad that you asked this question. I have the same issue. My hips are 34 inches, yet years of exercising and dieting doesn't seem to budge my 27/28 inch waist. This makes it difficult to find pants that fit properly. I am getting a tummy tuck soon for loose skin from my pregnancies and wonder if I should also do some lipo for my waistline. Haven't had my consultation yet to discuss this with my doctor.

Well from my understanding there needs to be a "comfortable margin" of fat to get liposuction, or in other words if there is just a centimeter or two or fat it might be too risky (otherwise the sharp hole can get caught on something else and cut it!)

I tried to find a photo to show you, please bear with me it's a little small but you get the idea!

You might want to try micro lipo.

To me you seem like you don't have enough fat to get lipo safely. If you are looking to enhance your curves, this is why women get breast implants or butt implants. Be careful that you aren't making a rash decision when it comes to plastic surgery, though. Make sure you have thought through the options carefully and choose a procedure that is safe for the amount of body fat you have.

My breasts definitely don't need to get any bigger lol. And neither does my butt. I just want a tinier waist.

Apologies for the much much delayed response. Thanks for replying
