| lip reduction surgery > makes your lips look fake!?! i seriously want lip reduction surgery. i was born with abnormally large lips -- i know most want that but it is not fun if you have them. i was teased in school and called horrible names that i can't write here since they were mean things about a certain ethnicity. i'm a man and i can't stand everyone thinks my lips are fake!!?
i have two questions. the first being if lip reduction is something that will end up looking natural or not. my second question is if a plastic surgeon can reduce my lips only by a little. that way they won't know i've had plastic surgery. |

Some can look natural. It depends on what you have to work with as well as WHO you work with, which is extremely important. I looked at many before and after lip reductions by doing a simple google search, and saw some excellent work, as well as some horrible results.

| There are no guarantees with any surgery, regardless of type or purpose. I wasn't saying lip reductions are either awful or great, but like I said, I've seen some good ones and some bad ones.
Jolie had a lower lip reduction when she was younger allegedly. She gets regular injections in her top lip, allegedly. I'm not sure what she gets now, but she started with collagen injections.

| Well plastic newbie, I know you hate them, but I think natural big lips are a great asset to have! Remember the people that tease you are probably just jealous
The other thing to consider is that lips are similar to the eyes, in that a small change in their shape can make someone look downright weird. I don't know enough about lip reduction surgery to give sound advice one way or another, but this would certainly be a major concern of mine if I were you. |

| Like I said there are no guarantees, even if you go to the best board certified surgeon. Every scenario is different.
I don't know anyone who has gotten a lip reduction personally.

| Leave that face alone!!! People pay much money for that type of look. I can't see your cheeks so well, but like I said people pay oh so much $$$ for lips like that. Stop begging for compliments ... just kidding!!!
