Lip augmentation using implants generally tends to not look as realistic. When used properly and in moderation injectables can look extremely natural. The primary problem with lip implants in my opinion is more so in regards to their feeling, which is not natural.

Versace is absolutely right. I only suggested the implant because it is longer lasting and thus more cost effective. The injections do look more realistic, but after having them done twice, and only lasting for 4 months at a clip, it makes one think. I wouldn't get the lip implants but it is so frustrating to get the good results that only last for such a short time. We need to find some happy medium.

I had fat injected in my lips and it's permanent. I wish I had tried something that was temporary first. I didn't realize how much it changes your smile. Its also a bit lumpy but that may be the surgeons fault. In any case I got it done over 10 years ago and it hasn't changed or gone away at all. Think twice before you alter your lips.
