V-Y lip advancement?

I have very thin and uneven lips. I've heard that fillers can be injected into your lips to make them fuller, but can this also correct an uneven lip line? I also have a scar on the left side of my lower lip. Any ideas?

Also, has anyone here used V-Y lip advancement? I sounds very painful but permanant.
