Default Thermage scam?

i havent heard one positive story personally from anyone on this thermage. it's not cheap (2 to 3 thou) and all i hear is people don't even notice a difference. yeah it sounds like a great product --- using intense heat to tighten skin and increase collagen production but the truth is if youre trying to do that in place of a neck lift or face lift your just going to come out of it dissappointed. i think the only reason doctors push it is its an easy procedure to do with high profits.

My godmother got it and it didn't do a whole lot but she didn't pay that much for it she lives down south and the prices are cheaper so she wasn't too pissed off at the results.

In my opinion thermage is not a scam however many people have unrealistic expectations of the outcome and it doesn't help that some doctors may stretch the truth to make the sale. Thermage is a great non-evasive way to mildly tighten up your skin and promote collagen production as found in more youthful skin. Only expect a mild improvement. If you have wrinkles and folds of skin this not change those. Thermage is not an alternative to a face lift I would just look at it as a way to freshen up your skin similar to a laser treatment. The drawback with Thermage is the price of $2000 to $3000. If it were about 1/3 to 1/2 that price I would recommend it more because I would say for the average person it is not worth spending that kind of money. However if money is no issue for you then it doesn't hurt to give Thermage a try.

thermage is a total scam. all it does is microwave your skin until you burn in your dermis. this is why it will hurt you so much and everyone complains about that. the machine the doctors buy only costs $30 thou and then they charge patients $3 thou for treatment? 10 treatments = price of machine!!! this thing is a scam for greedy doctors and the manufacturer. there isn't any science behind this thing and all that's happening is patients are having their faces burned and skin damaged inside. this company deserves to have thermage pulled from the market. i haven't heard a SINGLE fully satisfied reviews of thermage so if no one can give a satisfied review that should tell you soemthing right there.

Thumbs down

I had thermage over 7 months ago and there was zero improvement in my skin. My plastic surgeon talked me into it saying I would love the results, no surgery needed, blah blah blah and then showed my thermage before and after pictures which look like they were given to him by the company that makes thermage. the doctor also said the results would last a few years. even he agreed with me there was no improvement. now i'm out $2,200 and he refuses to refund any portion of it or apply it as credit to a different procedure. this thing is a scam and not even worth it for 1/10 the price. i don't feel theres any real technology behind it all thermage does is burn your skin and tell me how burning your skin with that is good for you, but burning your skin with the sun isn't? i won't be surprised for everyone to find out later on that thermage causes skin.

STAY AWAY FROM THERMAGE!!!!!!

Thermage treatment is an non-surgical, FDA approved procedure that offers an innovative way to rejuvenate your face which involves the application of radio frequency energy to your face. This energy strategically heats collagen, which composes your skin. Thermage unique deep-heating technology stimulates and renews your own collagen, resulting in tighter, smoother skin.

I haven't heard as much "buzz" about Thermage as of lately. It appears its popularity is dying down. Not that it ever was extremely popular.

Now what do all the doctors do with their uselss Thermage machines they paid $100,000 for?
