Default is frexel laser all it's worked up to be?

i keep getting post cards in the mail for it from the manufacturer... is it really that good or just good marketing?

I think it's just marketing. Fraxel patented that wavelength of laser, so they can claim whatever they want and have exclusivity to it. But as far as I know there's plenty of "off brand" lasers right above and below that laser wavelength which would do just the same I would think.

I had great results with Fraxel but I guess to each their own.

can any of you tell me how much fraxel laser costs anyway? last year i remember getting a couple coupons in the mail for fraxel from the manufacturer. they were each for $400 off from what i remember. i've thought about it but if a fraxel coupon is for $400 off then how much is the normal price?!

i know fraxel says it promotes new collagen and skin cells turnover, but don't many other lasers do the same thing? i guess what i want is a laser like fraxel or something similar if it's cheaper. queen or anyone else can you give me more detailed fraxel reviews you had with it including the price of it?

thanks y'all

What is the average price of Fraxel laser? Good question! I did a little to dig up the price and guess what, I can't give you an average cost it varies so much! Here are some example prices to see just how it's all over the place-

$4,800 in Boca Raton, FL
$4,500 in Calabasas, CA
$4,100 in Vienna, Virginia
$1,200 in North Dakota
$1,100 in Houston, TX
$1,000 in Tempe, Arizona
$750 in West Bloomfield, Michigan
$600 in Keller, TX
$300 in La Jolla

A range from $300 to $4800 is unbelievable! I can't think of any injection, laser, or peel that differs in price like that. Some other sources quoted the average price from $800 to $3000 but even that doesn't make sense they're all using the same laser that doesn't take any special talent to do!

Would I pay $300 for Fraxel? Sure. $4800? Not a chance. Some people are delighted with the results while others see no change. Lasers can do a lot but if you ask me if it's worth paying on the high end for Fraxel I would say no. From what I know it does nothing special that other "cheap" lasers out there don't do too.

But back to your question of what is the average cost of fraxel laser? Your guess is as good as mine!

isn't fraxel geared more at middle aged and older people? That's the feel I got from it on their ads and websites. I don't think it's meant for people in there 20's or anything like that. Does anyone know what age is fraxel laser best for?

Good thing we have plastic surgery message boards and forums like this to check out reviews we plop down our hard earned money on some expensive procedures that don't work. Personally I haven't used Fraxel laser and don't know anyone that has so I can't give you any reviews but this is good info to know!

Do any of you know if Fraxel skin laser works if you're in your 20's? I hear a lot about this laser but yeah I agree with the other person on here the way they advertise it makes it look like it's only for older women so I don't know if this would be the laser for me or not.

Hey guys I found out those prices were average cost of Fraxel laser treatments and not just single times. I guess I can't really tell you the average cost of Fraxel since it depends how many times you get it done.
