XTRAC laser a scam?
 

The XTRAC laser was approved by the FDA in '00 to treat psoriasis, eczema and vitiligo. I got scared of the side effects like liver damage and possible birth defects that have been associated with the oral pills my doctor was prescribing to to treat my eczema. My family doctor told me about the XTRAC laser but I know the treatments cost a lot and the results are not permanent. Does that mean it is still worth the price?

Does anyone here have experience or opinions about the XTRAC excimer laser?

While XTRAC is known to be an effective means of healing skin conditions, it is only a temporary fix. One must undergo approximately ten treatment sessions and the results only last for a few months.

The sessions are quick and painless from what I have been told.

I'm not familiar with this Xtrac laser but it does sound promising.

Will insurance cover it for your situation?

Coverage usually depends on the insurance company, as well as your official documented IC9 diagnosis.
