My props go to Juvederm Ultra Plus. It's the safest out there since it already uses a substance found in your body. It stays smooth unlike the micro-bead based injections like Artefill and Radiesse/Radiance. It lasts a while but not too long and the price isn't too far out there. It's not animal or human derived which can be dangerous - like collagen taken from cows can spread mad cow disease etc. Well that's my review - Juvederm Ultra Plus. I think Restylane makes a long -lasting version too which is just the same.

My husband had success with Radiesse/Radiance injectable filler but he was actually using for reconstructive bone purposes in the mandible bone, so the "hardness" of it didn't matter. When it comes to the lips or any soft tissue area I probably wouldn't recommend it.

My reviews of the Juvederm Ultra Plus (30HV) and the Restylane equivalent get my vote for now. However with so many new fillers nearing FDA approval this one will be knocked off the top soon too.

i don't get it does it matter which one i get? is juvederm better than restylane or does it matter? i think they're the same price but if one of them makes it better holla back and lemme know!

What is the difference between Juvederm and Restylane? Theoretically there should be no difference. Both products have the same active ingredient of hyaluronic acid gel. There is a slight difference in the thickness of the gel delivery vehicle which encompasses the active ingredient, but the results overall are similar.

Injecting your own fat is one of the best "fillers" there is. I haven't done it yet but I'm going to get lipo on my butt and use that fat to soften out my face. I am sick though of how people get injection in their face thinking it is filling it out yet it is just in selected areas so it is not overall like when u were younger. I think the fat injecting can solve this a little bit. Another thing i heard about is this thing called "live fill" that uses your real fat combined with this method where harvests it or something and seems like it can be even. Can anyone tell me more about this? Does anyone know about it?

which one is thicker then, juvederm or restylane? is thicker better does that mean the injections will last longer?

Even though restylane and juvederm are comparable as I use to use restylane, think that juvederm lasts about the same but definitely goes in smoother. my PS said you have to be a better injector and more diligent when using restylane since it doesn't smooth over as much so u have to be dead on as their is no margin for error whereas juvederm u can more easily smooth out. i got a small bump in my bottom lip one time from restylane that took forever to smooth out and i have not had that problem with juvederm.

Radiesse is my favorite to use in most cases, however, I have found Juvederm to be more appropriate for treatment of finer lines.
