how long do these really last? i'm on the fence between either normal cheek implants or just being lazy and only doing injections in my cheeks lol

the thing is my friend got radiance injected in her chin and cheek at the same time, but the injections in the cheek only lasted like 6 months while the ones in her chin stayed there around a year. i heard that depending on the part of face and the 'activity' that goes on there aka blood flow, type of tissue, etc it may last shorter, so i guess the cheeks don't last as long which is why i really don't want to (and can't) fork over $500 to $1000 every 6 to 9 months for an injection that hardly last.

has anyone actually had success with injectable fillers like radiesse or juvederm in the cheeks lasting?

never had it so can't tell u but i know when it first hit the market the makers were trying to claim it lasted 2 to 5 years!!!!!! then complaint after complaint they kept inching that number smaller to whatever the claim today it is which i think is 12 months. it seems all these fillers out try to overhype their product and how long it lasts. i don't even get how that's legal or why someone hasn't sued them yet for it but it's true with all of them. when u pick out a filler just make sure u go on the time other users say it lasts and not the little pamplet from the drug company in the doctors office which will tell you a big number which just isn't so.

I had a little Radiance or Radiesse whatever it's called in the cheek and it lasted about half a year on me. For sure it was no more than 7 or 8 months. It's a ripoff the P.S. charged $1200 for it and for that price I could have got the long lasting Juvederm twice.
