PLLA Better than Collagen As per Healthy Day News: Injectable Polymer Corrects Wrinkles Better Than Collagen - Poly-L-lactic acid injections found to be effective in treating nasolabial fold wrinkles - ModernMedicine "The study was sponsored by Dermik Laboratories. Several authors reported advisory, consulting, and financial relationships with Dermik Laboratories and BioForm Medical Inc." The last sentence in bold print says a lot. |
Not only that, but I am also skeptical as to what this "biocompatible" material is. Will it create unnatural results like Radiesse? |
I would hope it would not deliver results like Radiesse. Biocompatible materials are scientifically created to replace any organ, tissue, organ or function of the body. They are usually comprised of nonbiological materials, that mock substances that occur normally and naturally in the human body. I am not sure of the validity of the story ... read the last line in bold print. ;) Makes me wonder ... :) |
Skeptical indeed  I thought the definition of bio-compatible just meant it was a substance that could interact with the body normally without being rejected? |
Rejection does sometimes occur with biocompatible materials, but only when it is a substance that is not from the host. Sometimes scientifically created biocompatible matter is rejected by the host. |
