What are the different types of brow lifts... Brow lift aka forehead lift is done to fix drooping brows. Here's a quick breakdown of the different types: Endoscopic Browlift This is a non invasive method that involves making tiny incisions on the scalp. An endoscope is inserted into the incisions and the surgeon will insert other instruments to lift the skin o the forehead. The eyebrows are also lifted up. Coronal Procedure This involves pulling up the skin on the eyebrows and removing excess skin and fat from the eyebrow. As a result the hairline is raised. This is the most common brow lift method. Corrugator muscle excision For this the surrgeon actually removes the muscle which is the root cause of frownlines - the corrugator muscle. Temporal Brow lift Similar to an endoscopic brow lift, this method involves making tiny incisions on the temples. Direct Brow Lift This method only affects the eyebrow where small incisions are made on the top of. The hairline and scalp aren't affected with this procedure. |
