I dont know why on earth someone would want to go on national television like that and expose themselves and show and tell the whole world what theyre doing. are americans that crazed for the limelight?

Perhaps that's the case with a few, but I think it's more so that these individuals would never have the means to get a plastic surgery makeover without the show, and I don't blame them for that. A lot of those contestants they pick are average income middle class moms in middle America - good for them if they can get a free makeover and boost their self esteem.

True true that wouldn't be fun. what they should do is get the surgery and then with all the money they saved moved to hawaii instead so their nosey neighbors will be gone

my friend got a rhinoplasty like 2 years ago by one of the plastic surgeons on dr. 90210 and they offered for her to be on the show but get this: they didn't even offer to do the surgery free they only offered a 15% discount on the surgeon fee. FIFTEEN LOUSY PERCENT?? like if u had to go on tv and everyone would then know u had a nosejob dont u deserve more than 15%? that show is like a commercial for the doctor so they make a ton of money from it by getting new customers. i wouldnt let that doctor exploit me and make money just for a 15% discount.

which p.s. was it that made that offer? they make soooooo much money off the free advertising for that show if anything not only should they be doing your work for free but also be paying you no different than if u were an actor in a commercial!!!!!!
