Financing plastic surgery with NO credit?
 

I have absolutely no credit and I am in need of financing for plastic surgery very badly. You see I recently lost a ton of weight and now have all kinds of baggy skin and what not that I need to get nipped and tucked. Are there any cosmetic surgery loans or something that can help? I was reading on the breast implant forum on here that a lot of girls depend on their rich BFs to pay for it but unfortunately my husband isn't rich ;)

Nowadays you definitely need good credit. I hear that nowadays you need a 700+ FICO score just to get approved for a credit card. I don't know if you will have any luck with this. I mean when you think about it there's good reason to for that because if you haven't been able to pay your bills in the past why should they loan you money when there's a good chance you won't pay it back? Also plastic surgery is probably not something you should be going into debt for. that's just my two cents worth.

I would NOT recommend this. I put my nosejob on a credit card and then my rate was jacked up and I had difficulty paying it off because of a job loss. Do NOT risk it.

hey i wrote about this in another post regarding bad credit. in the case that you have no credit or just very very bad credit, i don't know if this will help but helped me get my loan. i think they offer some sub-prime financing options, you can always call and ask. but you never want to get a loan from a bad company, cause you don't know what will happen. but i did have a very good experience with them. i highly recommend them! (but again, i did have pretty good credit, but you can always try them out or call and ask them i guess)

i used credit too. they were very helpful and got my approved pretty quickly. now i just have 3 years of payments to pay off my cosmetic surgery! i think financing your surgery (especially if it is an expensive one) is always better. money is worth more to you know than later, so you should always finance big ticket items over paying for it upfront! but of course, you need to plan to have the money but it is always better!

I think it’s a good idea to select a plastic surgeon before looking into financing options. Just be aware that not all surgeons will accept financing, either because they cannot afford the risk or simply because they choose not to. Some surgeons work directly with financing companies and offer “doctor discounts” if a patient decides to go the financing route. So when you choose a doctor, ask to see if he/she takes art in a finance or loan program.

I was in the same problem as you, I couldn't find any credit, nothing!
So, I talked about this with a friend who told me he went to Mexico. That's what I did and I am soooooo happy!
I could afford my surgery in a very beautiful hospital and I guess the result is better than if I would have done it in the US.

OM Goodness.... I would be fearful to go outside of the country for any kind of plastic surgery. There are plenty of options here, from amazing doctors that do deal with loan for bad credit plans/options.
