I am about to have cheek implants in California. Dr Palmer, the surgeon, recommnded an aftercare facility for one night, followed by a hotel stay for 6 nights thereafter. He says the aftercare is necessary secondary to effects from the anesthesia combined with the fact that I will be flying out there alone.

I was wondering if anybody had just hired an LVN (nurse) to stay with them at the hotel for one night? If one did this, wehere would you find one?

That doesn't make sense. He is saying a nurse is necessary?

Typically all you need is someone to watch over you for 24 hours and that can be anyone. Ask him to confirm though.

If a nurse is needed I know a great one in Long Beach with 30+ years experience who only choose to work 3 shifts a week now and would likely be able to do it due to her open schedule. She would probably do it for 200 to 300. If you want me to ask let me know.
