I think "secret" plastic surgery is a problem everywhere, not just in Australia.

Absolutely, la_angel. If people were more forthcoming about their surgeries, they could help others, rather than doctors providing "patients" to "answer questions". I can understand why certain surgeries would not be table conversation, but people should not feel shame or guilt about having PS.

In rural parts of America plastic surgery is still a major taboo but that is changing.
