| Cost of mini face lift? Can someone tell me please what the cost of mini face lift is and how effective it actually is? I've heard mixed reviews on this procedure. |

| Another name for this is the "weekend face lift" is what I've heard and the costs vary. The difference is that it uses much tinier cuts and endoscopic technology. Since there are less incision areas the healing and trauma to the face is a lot less. The plastic surgeon then pulls the skin to the ideal position and re-stitches it so it stays like that.
I've never had this done personally so I can vouch for its effectiveness. I would imagine though it is less effective than a tradition face lift. But being that you pay less and their is less recovery time that may be worth the trade. |

| Mini face lift surgery
There are two major procedures, such as anterior and posterior mini face lift. They both differ in the area they are performed. The anterior mini face lift is carried out to improve the lower face area. It will begin in the region in front of the ears with anesthetic injected to create local anesthesia. Incision line starts in front of the ears and follow up to the hairline. The skin is detached from the underlying tissue, fat tissue is removed and muscles tightened. Then the surgeon pulls the skin and tightens it with deep sutures, removing the excess skin. The procedure may last from 40 to 90 minutes. Another modification of mini face lift is a posterior mini face lift to improve the neck and jowl region. The procedure begins with the injection of anesthetic into the area behind the ears. The surgeon makes an incision behind the ear and drives it to the hairline. Then, he/she pull the skin gently up, tighten it with a few deep sutures and remove the excess skin. The procedure also lasts from 40 to 90 minutes. Cost of mini face lift
The cost of the procedure is smaller than that of a full face lift. It differs from state to state, the average cost of mini face lift in the United States is from $3,500 to $6,500. |

| I have heard mixed reviews about this procedure. Some clients were unhappy, as they expected the final results to mimic that of a real facelift. Others, who had good surgeons and reasonable expectations seemed fairly satisfied. They say it makes you look "refreshed" vs. getting an actual facelift. Also, the results do no last quite as long. It seems inexpensive compared with the real deal.

| If the results aren't as long then definitely weigh the true cost. If it only fixes you for a little while it may be worth doing a full facelift instead. It may cost more but in the long run it will be a better value and the results you will probably be most satisfied with since it's full correction instead of just lifting a couple areas. |

If you're going to do it, do it right!

| The old adage is true ... you get what you pay for (in most scenarios lol).
