I've been thinking about a face lift for quite some time but am anxious about getting bad results so I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. I really don't want to look like I've had a face lift I just want my skin a little bit less loose. I see to many celebrities like Burt Reynolds on TV who would look good but have taken the plastic surgery too far. I want my face to look the same I don't want to look another race like he does.

The other thing is too I don't think many people realize how fake their plastic surgery looks. I'm in the midwest and whenever we watch those Holywood shows to u many of them look fake. Is it possible for me to get a natural looking facelift without the fake look? Is it hard to find a doctor that will do a facelift like this?

Everyone wants a face lift without the pulled look dear. It's a matter of finding a plastic surgeon that is conservative and knows how to be conservative What kind of you thinking of anyway a full facelift or a mini or... another kind? Really the key to facelifts is that less is always more.

I take it you don't know exactly what the surgery involves. Well I can tell you.
In the area along the temple hair the surgeon will make an incision in front of the ear and just above it. This goes around the earlobe and all the way around the ear and back to where it started. Then the doctor pulls the skin out and replaces it. All the muscle and connective tissues will be spruced up too. Usually a little fat is take out along the jaw so you have a jawline again. With men the incision are made along where the beard line would naturally be. Whatever the case the cuts are always or at least should be where the natural creases in the skin are to help cover it up. A good surgeon won't do all of this as much as he can but just go in and fix it half way instead of all the way. That's what makes the difference between a natural looking face lift or a plastic pulled look.

The Queen nailed it on the head. The secret to successful face lifts is not so much the technique used but rather the surgeon's skill. There are a couple procedures I absolutely recommend patients never to take the "budget" route with; one being rhinoplasty and second being face lifts. These are two procedures you absolutely need to go to the best surgeon possible for. It will cost you more than average but you will be thankful you did.

Thanks for help both of you. Is there a certain type of facelift I should ask for? I don't know the different kinds and what all they do. I know there's the mini face lift, thread face lift, eye lift, and more but that's about it.

Its not like there are quality on face lifts.These are minute measurements stuffs.U can simply talk to the doctor starti away for teh kind of lift you want.its not actually as in differnt doctors produce different face lifts invidually.Overall accuracy depends on your explanation to that doctor.
I recommend you any speciallized doctors for face lifts rather any specific one.

there is no such thing as face lift without pulled look. It is all the skill of the surgeon. It the surgeon is good, you will be charged more and will get better results, and if the surgeon is not good, you won't get the results you want.
So choose the right plastic surgeon before going for a face-lift procedure.

When I had my facelift 6 weeks ago I also told my surgeon that I wanted to look like myself without the jowls and I did NOT want to look like I am standing in a wind tunnel. So far so good.
