Lower Facelift/Necklift Surgery
Help, help, help! :Angelic: I just don't understand how I turned into a 53 year-old lady without a jawline. My head and neck might as well be the same body part now. Is 53 really that old? Is this just what happens to us?

Being totally new to this -- how does a necklift work exactly? Is that what I need? Where do they make the cuts for a necklift? My guess is they would have to suck out some stuff under the chin and jaw and then cut the skin and tighten it -- is that right? Are the incisions visible anywhere?

Okie dokie that's it for my twenty questions.

I have the same exact thing the dreaded double chin :barf:

How do you get rid of a double chin? Do we need a liposuction under the jawline or some kind of necklift facelift thing. You think if we exercise are neck muscles it will help? Not that I know how to exercise those but I figure anything to make it better is worht a shot. I think ultimately what we will end up needing is whatever double chin plastic surgery there is to get remove our gobblers.

That depends on what the underlying cause of the double chin. It could be skin, fat, and/or muscle. You're going to usually get the best results with procedures that deal with what ever is causing the excess flab. It may be a neck lift or face lift. Other times just muscle tightening and neck and jawline liposuction will do the trick. Unfortunately there's no exercise you can do to fix a double chin.

Face lift 6 weeks ago
I had the same problem and had a facelift 6 weeks ago. I had lipo of the neck and a mid face lift. I am very happy with the results so far.

I have added facelift pics to my lipo blog. I have a before and 1 day after pic loaded so you will see my improvement. I just started adding these pics yesterday and will add more later.

There could be any reason for double chin.
It could be fat, excess of skin or just muscle
Hence, the procedure to fix this will depend on the problem
You should seek advice from a good plastic surgeon.
