If it's your job to go around on plastic surgery message boards and promote doctors, then you certainly should have known about this law. |
It's not my job to go around on plastic surgery message boards and promote doctors. My job is to create educational videos to inform the public of what plastic surgery actually involves.
I don't mean to start any problems with anyone. I just think it would be a lot better for everyone to at least have an understanding of what's going on before JUMPING on someone's back based on an assumption. It almost seemed like certain individuals were just waiting to ruin someone's day--and in this case, mine.
If you'd watch any of my videos, the extent of my "promotion" is crediting the surgeon for his work and giving any interested parties his contact information in case they have questions ... Since I am not legally allowed to give any medical advice or counsel.
It's too bad things went the way they did. I never meant any harm to anyone.
Plus, it'd be nice if someone could actually reference the FEDERAL LAW that mandates and regulates this

. I have been unable to locate ANYTHING that classifies my posts and work as illegal. So ...
I appreciate your concern (and my apologies for using the term "vengeful"), but I think I'll just keep at what I'm doing. If, in the unfortunate case (for the entire medical community in general), the federal government deems my work to be against any laws or FTC violations, then so be it. But I highly doubt they are going to waste their time, considering the nature of my work.
I'm not advertising, nor am I promoting. I am simply educating. Of course I must give credit where credit is due. My work would not have been possible without the help of Dr. Schwartz, and even though I am affiliated with his practice, I am not fishing for business. I am educating the public. There is a *huge* difference between what I have posted here and traditional marketing.
Thanks anyways.
