Just some info to avoid looking like Frankenstein or with drool coming out of your mouth!

When considering a facelift, I recommend to have it done only by a facial nerve specialist or a surgeon who only specializes in face/neck surgery.

It's your face and you don't want to end up with a severed nerve leaving your face paralyzed, drooling or unable to smile! Yes it does happen, and you have to be very careful when picking your surgeon.

There are very few (a handful) of true facial nerve specialists in the world!

I spoke with a fellow I work with who does a lot of facial neurology work,and he said he would never attempt to do a facelift. He said he knows of others who have and/or would, but he feels due to the differences in specified training, it is highly irresponsible.
