A friend of mine who is considering an eyelift mentioned the idea of getting transconjunctival blepharoplasty. Can someone tell me what this is exactly and how it differs from a regular blepharoplasty procedure?
I looked this up and it's been used for about 35 years now and its a technique for lower blepharoplasty. It hides the scar because they do the cutting along the inside of the eyelid instead of doing the incisions on the outside. It sounds like a good option if you scar a lot but what scares me a lot is that the scalpel blade going so close to your eyeball. Eeek!
