Is it wise to take a train after surgery?

I have a lower blepharoplasty and a fat transfer to the mental crease and lower lip (deep grove above chin and under lip) on Wednesday. The problem is, no one knows I'm getting surgery. I'm getting surgery 2 hours away and am hopping on a bus the morning of the operation to get it done. My family doesn't agree I should have plastic surgery because they think I'm too young (I'm 22). I booked a hotel which is literally up the street from the facility I am having the surgery. I will arrange for a taxi to take me there. My surgery is at 11:00am and my plan is to stay at the hotel for until about 8:00pm and regroup a little from the anaesthetics, then throw on some sun glasses and catch a train home. The train ride home will only be two hours. I have been on heavy pain killers before and I've never felt too incapable to take a train. I'm also going to request to have someone at the hotel call or check up on me every hour and a half to see if I haven't passed out or anything. I don't think its a big deal seeing as how I'll be doing the same thing on the train as I'd be doing at home which is sitting/resting.

I'm 23 years old and am fairly healthy. I don't exercise much but I have a fast metabolism and have been eating very healthy the past few days so I can prepare my body to heal. I've been eating a lot of dark green veggies, quinoa, lentils, peanutbutter, fruits, arnica tablets and drinking tons of water.

Do you think I'll be okay to just take the train home? The DR said he didn't think it was a good idea. Maybe I'm just too wishful in thinking he's overreacting?
