possible to manip. soft tissue for wider set eyes?

I'm aware of how unfeasible it is to get craniofacial surgery out of an aesthetic wish to change eye distance...

but Is it possible to manipulate the soft tissue around the eye to make the eyes seem further apart?
for example, could the Medial Canthus be moved?
