anyone know? it seems to me any cuts around the eyes would be super noticeable.

Well, most often the surgeons makes the incisions just along the natural creases on your upper eyelids. Basically just below the eyelashes for the lower eyelids. They either use a scalpel for this (which scares me - it's your eyes! ) or a laser. The incisions on the upper eyelids start at the upper inside corners of the eyelids and extend to the crow's feet area.

Any excess skin and fat will be removed and then the cuts are closed using tiny sutures which stay in about a week. Yeah I know, it's scary to think about all that cutting going on right above your eyeball!

Good question. I have olive skin and scar with even a paper cut. So I don't see how it would be possible for me to NOT scar with an eyelift.

I've always wondered that myself too. How long do blepharoplasty scars last? I have heard that they remain very red for 6 to 8 weeks and then should mostly disappear within a year. There are various ointments and scar creams to use but the problem with those is how do you wear makeup with them?

Putting makeup on top of scars is almost never good so it's a tough decision. Either go w/o makeup so your eye lift scars heal the best they can or wear makeup so you temporarily look good even though it may be screwing with your looks long term.
