Well, most often the surgeons makes the incisions just along the natural creases on your upper eyelids. Basically just below the eyelashes for the lower eyelids. They either use a scalpel for this (which scares me - it's your eyes!

) or a laser. The incisions on the upper eyelids start at the upper inside corners of the eyelids and extend to the crow's feet area.
Any excess skin and fat will be removed and then the cuts are closed using tiny sutures which stay in about a week. Yeah I know, it's scary to think about all that cutting going on right above your eyeball!
