Eye lift surgery for men
 

Are there surgeons that specialize in eye lift surgery for men? My wife had an eye lift done last year and her face looks surprised now. Haven't said anything to her about how I feel because if shes happy then I'm happy. Problem is I would not be happy with that style of eye lift for myself. I need to maintain my masculinity. Because of my job I'm what you could call a local celebrity in my city and the last thing I want is snickering about my plastic surgery. What advice can someone provide me about how to achieve natural looking eye lift surgery on males? I'm a Caucasian in my late forties if that matters.

I have heard of docs that specialize in eye lifts for men, but they are no better than the horrible results I have seen on women.

I think the key to doing eye lift surgery on men is to be super conservative. Men shouldn't go for full correction... I think under-correcting would be better than over-correcting. The problem with most plastic surgeons is they are too aggressive with eye lifts (regardless of gender).

When looking at doctors, make sure you see pictures of both male and female eye lift patients. This should help you better evaluate how aggressive they are in their approach. Unfortunately, most plastic surgeons can't do this procedure very well.

I just had eyelid surgery last Tuesday and going well so far. Seems to me that everyone is going to want something different from it and so surgeon will be using multiple techniques top and botoom depending on fat, bone shape etc.Typically what has been desired has been pretty standard and I think this can end up in the wide eyed, irregular stare (ooh, lovely) result because the same old tricks have been rolled out.I had a very specific unpleasant anomoly in my mid face which i tried tolaser, cover up,mid face lift but the use of the lower eye lift to hoist that muscle to just above the outer eye kinda complemented the mid face lift and so far looks ok. Early daays but its just my observation that old tricks might still have some use

i agree with la angela that under improvement is better than over improvement, often results are not what we want. but you should make your mind before going for this as results can be negative or positive.

There are docs that focus more on women's eyelifts but they are basically no different from one another (men vs women) like stated earlier.

Most people don't know I had them done but they do say I look younger but they aren't sure why. Males or females Dr. Prasad is a oculofacial plastic surgeon so when it's face and eyes he's it !!
