Default Eyelash Extensions vs. Latisse

As per Plastic Surgery Confidential:

"Sometimes you have to spend money to save money. If you want to have longer eyelashes and do not want to use eyelash extensions, I would STRONGLY urge you to buy Latisse.

Latisse is a prescription drug only that you apply to your eyelashes, every day, for about 3 months. Your eyelashes WILL grow longer and thicker. To maintain the results, no one really knows what a maintenance schedule should be, but I recommend about 3-4 times a week, indefinitely, to maintain the longer eyelash growth. If you stop applying Latisse, your eyelashes will go back to the shorter, original length.

Eyelash extensions are typically about $100-300 per session, are not permanent, and require maintenance every 3-6 weeks. The cost of Latisse is actually lower than that, and you will have your own natural eyelashes. To me, it’s a no brainer- get a prescription for Latisse soon!"

The logic is there, but this post seems very promotional ...

Very promotional Also the author mentions "you will have your own natural eyelashes" but fails to mention that you may not end up having your own natural eye color afterward

For the past three months I've been using Rapid Lash instead of Latisse.

Rapid Lash is so much cheaper and works! My lashes (in certain spots) hit my eyebrows.

I just added a Rapid Lash album.

From what I understand this product wont alter your eye colour. Well, so far so good for me. I'd just die if it did.

I have read some very encouraging as well as complimentary reviews about Rapid Lash, however, I do not know anyone personally who has used it. The reviews have all also been in print (online as well as magazines) so I cannot vouch for their authenticity or lack of bias/agenda. Some users report initial irritation, but say it goes away rather quickly.
