Surgery For Dark Circles Under Eyes

Would surgery for dark circles under eyes be an option? I have since tried everything to get rid of my dark eye circles with little improvement. I am not that old yet either so I don't even want to know what they will be like in a few years. I have read up some about blepharoplasty and would like to know if this type of plastic surgery will also help with the dark circles.

I do not have eye bags or puffiness or wrinkles, it's only the darkness that I want to get rid of. I hate having to load up on concealer all the time. It's starting to inhibit my life because from the time I wake up until I go to bed, I need to cover up the problem and that's a lot of work. Will plastic surgery be able to solve this for me?

I do not know of a specific surgical procedure to rid you of dark circles. Dermablend is excellent and lasts all day. This link might help you as well:

I have some Dermablend and it does help but I want a permanent solution. The problem with makeup is I have to be wearing it all the time. I would like to be able to have my boyfriend sleep next to me at night and not wake up to seeing me like this.

A good eye cream for dark circles should contain a 5% concentration of vitamin K, which may be able to help somewhat (but it is by no means a miracle cure) :(

I do not know of any surgery for dark circles, but sometimes a secondary cause can be loss of fat tissue under the eyes from aging. If this is a problem then an injectable filler may be able to help. But please be careful in choosing the right doctor, because it's much more dangerous for them to inject around the eyes (for obvious reasons).

Eye surgery will do absolutely nothing for dark circles.

My PS told me this when I had my surgery. I had an upper and lower bleph with fat removal last year.

It's done wonders for my eyes!

For dark circles I use Hylexin. It is a God-send and works wonders. ;)

I learned this weekend that a friend had great results with Juvederm to minimize the appearance of the dark circles (she also had asked if there was surgery for dark circles and her doctor confirmed there wasn't). So there is hope for a solution :)
