Hi, I haven't been on here lately. Well, I think I may have been right about the Plastic Surgeons sticking together where I live. I went to see a cosmetic/dermatologist and told asked him if laser resurfacing would diminish most of a scar I may have to have after getting my bleph fixed and he said it may fix it a bit and then he asked me which plastic surgeon I was going to see. I had asked him which ones he may recommend to me and that is when he asked that. I got the impression he was going to warn them of me or something. Of course, I went in and told them that my original plastic surgeon couldn't figure out how my eyelids turned out so lax and said I must be on drugs etc. Of course, I am not. I told the dermatologist this, cause I think they know each other, and that this is absurd, etc. So, now I think I'm blackballed. I got the impression that this dermatologist may have sent out emails, or whatever, as silly as it sounds, warning them I was a problem, and not to see me. I left his office feeling not good about things.
Soo, now I've had two doctors cancel their appts. with me and say they needed to book it for another day, which I did for one. Now, is this not ridiculous or what. I know that one of the surgeons I had seen before, which I am not going with, told me he has a receptionist that comes to his office from the dermatologists office, I guess for a loan when they are short staffed. Do you see what I am saying. I'm not a drug addict or crazy person, this is really nuts.
So, I had to go to another city recently, and had a consultation with them, and they were really nice and didn't ask me which doctor I had been to or anything. I'm just not sure I like his work. If that makes sense. Do all surgeons pretty much have the same end result. I did look at a photo album of a few photos of his work, but there was only really one photo to go by. The rest were men.
Any comments. |
