Ear Surgery Question (14 years later) Hi, I'm now 28 years old and had Otoplasty done when I was 14 years old. The surgery went fine, and I was very happy that my parents suggested it to me. My left and right ear are not identical, nor are they perfectly symmetrical. I've learned to live with this, as it's just the way surgery goes sometimes. Both ears don't always come out the same. I've noticed that the back of my left ear has 2 spots where I can feel a small bump and/or scab that's always present. Has anyone else had these happen?? Sometimes they hurt, and flare up causing swelling and bleeding. I usually put some neosporin on it, to help the heeling. Is this something that happens often after surgery? It's been there for years, and seems like I'll have it for life. Anyone have a similar experience and/or advice? |
Ear surgery is something that is performed for one of two reasons. A person may need ear surgery at any time in their life for hearing purposes. If a person loses this essential function, they can have this done to improve it.seo services |
