As you can see, it's not a bad case of otoplasty. I can't say that I hate my ears at this point, but I wonder if I can improve them. I want them to protrude less and be more symmetrical. It's important, since I have bald haircut.

I had one otoplasty in the past, but ears partially returned to their initial position. In my opinion, my ear cartridge is relatively hard, and that could be the reason for them to come back after about 1 year of the first surgery.

In other words, I'm not 100% decided that I want the second surgery, and have two concerns: the ears will not look as I expect after the surgery (maybe they would look even worse than now), and that they may come to its position again.

I guess it just shows you that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't see any reason for surgery on your ears. I imagine it's the first thing you look at when you look in the mirror, just like my perceived weaknesses are what I look at when I look in the mirror. If it really bothers you, then I guess that's reason enough to do something about it. But, I don't think your ears stand out, or look unusual. My son was in the military, and I've seen many young men with buzz cuts, and they all look like that.
Just my humble opinion.
