Default Is there otoplasty that changes shape of ear?

I know traditional "ear pinning" otoplasty is quite common, but is there surgery that actually alters the shape of the ear? For example, if someone wanted to change the size of their ear lobe, etc.

I've never heard of a doctor changing the shape of an ear for cosmetic reason. Then again I'm sure it has been done for accident victim, birth defects, etc. if you want to consider that cosmetic surgery. Other than that, I don't know of any surgeon that actually change the shape of the ear other than perhaps fixing a hanging ear lobe that's been gauged out by big earrings or something of that nature. When it comes to ears pretty much the mots they can do is "ear pinning" but be careful as easy as that sounds it rarely looks good. Doctors too often remove too much cartilage resulting in what I call alien ears far too close to the head or bowed out on the bottom and top. For otoplasty you want to make sure you find a conservative doctor and see before and after pictures. Do some reason on the net and you will see the bad results I'm talking about as well as a few good ones on surgeons websites.
