does cartilage graft taken from ear effect the shape/appearance of it?
 

Looks like I'll be getting a cartilage graft from my ear for a revision rhinoplasty. How fun I can't wait! :Angry:

Will this change my ear? It's only being taken from one side so I just would like to know if I have two ears that look different after. Not that I really care if that's what it takes to fix my breathing tho

You're very unlikely to have a change in the shape of your ear, or at least I've never heard of that happening. If anything what will happen is your ear may possible rest slightly closer to your head, and when I mean slightly I'm talking about a millimeter or two.

Thanks Versace. I actually decided to go with the rib cartilage so I guess now all I have to worry about is what my rib cage will look like with a missing rib lol

A cartilage taken from the ear won't effect the shape of the ear.
And if it does, it will be a minute change. It won't be noticeable.
