Chin augmentation, maxillofacial surgeon, or plastic surgeon? who do you recommend fo Who has is more specialized aesthetically and functionally (care of nerves eviting lost of sensitivity, tissues) |
It it truly dependent on the purpose of your surgery, as well as your desired final result. What type of surgery do you want, or specifically what changes do you want to make? keep in mind that many maxillofacial surgeons cannot and will not perform particular procedures to the extent of that of a plastic surgeon. |
It`s for an aesthetic surgery, chin augmentation. |
Why do you want to see an aesthetician? This has been addressed on the forum. Here is a link I posted in repsonse to a similar query: You're a What? Medical aesthetician - OOQ Online, Spring 2004 You need to be more specific about your desired "chin augmentation". Honestly, a plastic surgeon would be able to make worlds of difference beyond the other types of professionals and paraprofessionals you are discussing. What type of research have you done? Solely internet? What types of specialists have you visited? |
A dual board certified plastic surgeon (both plastic surgery and otolaryngology) would be preferred, in my opinion. |
